Appliance Resolve

Privacy policy

What the site stores in your browser, what basic site measurement may collect, and what is only shared when you contact us.

Effective date: August 18, 2026
Last updated: August 18, 2026

No account required

Appliance Resolve can be used without creating an account. The troubleshooting library, manual finder, recall links, and most tools do not require you to submit personal information.

My Appliances browser storage

If you use My Appliances, the nickname, appliance type, brand, model number, and optional purchase year you enter are stored in your browser using local storage. Appliance Resolve does not transmit that saved list to a server. You can remove individual records or clear the list from the tool. Clearing your browser storage can also remove it.

Diagnostic summary

The diagnostic-summary tool processes what you enter in the active browser tab so you can organize or print it. Appliance Resolve does not intentionally place those entries in the page address or send the completed diagnostic details as analytics event data.

Site analytics

Appliance Resolve may use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use and technical performance. Depending on the service configuration, this can include page visits, referral information, device and browser information, approximate region, and general interactions with the site. Search query text and saved appliance details should not be sent as custom analytics event data.

Email and correction requests

If you contact Appliance Resolve by email, the information you choose to send is processed so the message can be reviewed and answered. Do not include information that is not needed for the request.

Service providers

Hosting, security, measurement, and email delivery may involve third-party providers such as Vercel, Google, and the email provider used to receive messages. Their own privacy and retention practices can apply to information they process.

Your choices

You can use the site without My Appliances, clear browser-local appliance records at any time, block or clear browser storage through browser settings, and use available browser controls for analytics technologies. Privacy, access, correction, or deletion questions can be sent through the Contact page.

Changes

This policy may be updated when site tools, analytics, hosting, or other data practices materially change. The last-updated date will be revised when that happens.
